The Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America - Greater Kansas City Chapter Announces Car Donation Program

Kansas City, MO February 25, 2004--The AAFA, Greater Kansas City Chapter can now accept used car donations through its partner cars4charities to help raise much needed funds. The AAFA, Greater Kansas City Chapter is dedicated to serving the estimated 200,000 area children and adults who suffer from asthma and severe allergic disorders

By donating used cars, trucks, vans or SUVs, donors become eligible for a federal tax deduction. cars4charities sells the donated vehicles and sends the entire net proceeds to the AAFA, Greater Kansas City Chapter to help fund their programs.

The Vehicle Donation Program has been a great success in other parts of the country. "We are very excited to be part of this effort and hope to see a similar level of enthusiasm throughout our community," says Noel Albert, Executive Director of the AAFA, Greater Kansas City Chapter. To participate, donors simply call cars4charities at 1-866-448-3487 or log onto their website www.cars4charities.org , and they will have the vehicles towed away, free of charge. Donors will receive all the necessary paperwork to claim their tax deduction for the fair market value of the vehicle.
