DCMG, Inc. Owner Tim Ward Designs Easter Seals/March of Dimes National Council Site as In-Kind Donation
Web site designer Tim Ward, who owns the web development agency DCMG, Inc., has been selected to design the national Web site for the Easter Seals/March of Dimes National Council (ESMODNC). Ward will create the site as an in-kind donation. The ESMODNC serves Canadians of all ages who have physical disabilities.
Ward became linked to the ESMODNC through the Abilities Foundation of Nova Scotia. Although he is limited to two to three in-kind donations per year, Ward said he is pleased any time he can assist organizations with their Web sites.
"Web sites are one of an organization's primary communication tools, and my company understands the components needed to create a successful site and one that will benefit the organization and those it serves," Ward said.
The new ESMODNC Web site will be much more comprehensive and will not only be professional, clean, appealing and colourful, but also will demonstrate a consistent brand with ease of navigation. Features will include a search engine, content in both French and English, as well as a secure on-line giving option.
Sites that will be developed are www.easterseals.ca and www.marchofdimes.ca Work on the sites will begin the first week of August 2003, and they are scheduled to launch December 1, 2003.
ESMODNC National Director for Development Michele Sharp said, "We are pleased to be working with Tim and his company and are looking forward to a Web site that will allow us to continue to fulfill our mission by communicating more effectively and reaching a larger audience."
