ETI Career Institute Makes Charitable Donation to Children's Healthcare Foundation of Atlanta

ATLANTA, November 11, 2003—ETI Career Institute today announced a charitable donation to the Children's Healthcare Foundation of Atlanta. The $200 donation was the result of fund raising at a Fall Harvest Festival held at the school's Dunwoody campus on Wednesday, October 26.

ETI Career Institute Medical Office Administrator Program students raised the funds for the Children's Healthcare Foundation of Atlanta donation through purchase of concessions and pink carnations by the stem for sale at the event. The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to bringing health, hope and happiness to children by raising funds to support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

"We're very pleased to make this donation to Children's Healthcare Foundation of Atlanta. I continue to be proud of our student's dedication to make a positive impact on the medical community," said Walter Hess, President of ETI Career Institute. "Even as ETI prepares students with the skills necessary to work in the medical industry, this is one way they can contribute now and also be a learning experience for them."

The ETI Career Institute Fall Harvest Festival also featured a community healthcare education exhibit and healthcare job fair combined with a blood drive and cholesterol screening co-sponsored by The Pavilion at Lake Hearn complex. More than 40 pints of whole blood units were collected by LifeSouth Community Blood Centers during the event.
